Solid Upright Freezer

Struggled with a deep freezer for years and after losing a bunch of meat to a power failure, decided it was time to change how I viewed a deep freezer. I cannot tell you how much more sense an upright freezer makes for a large family. We can now find food instead of trying to dig through a chest to find something. The Frigidare is the perfect compliment to our garage and is compact yet spacious. The external light on the bottom of the door is a huge plus to know if the freezer is functioning properly or not. Would definitely recommend buying to anyone!

So far, so good. My only observation is that it is smaller than my previous freezer, but it holds a lot. I love the fact that is upright (which is easier to find the items in the freezer) and frost free, and alarms if the door is left open to long.

Perfect ! Purchased a new refrigerator last year with huge pull out bottom freezer, thought we had it made. Got really tired of pawing through it to find items. Saw this 13 cf Frigidaire upright freezer and decided it would be perfect for our house. Read all the reviews I could find, some of them not to good, bought it anyway. Glad I did, its great, no frost, everything is visible ,garage ready, plenty of shelves and quiet. In fact so quiet it has a green light to show you its on. Overall pleased with this unit

I was looking for a frost-free freezer, garage ready. My old freezer (60 years) had given up the ghost and I was growing tired of defrosting it...especially in Kansas where summers are hot and winters are cold. We just moved to a new house and the garage is not heated or cooled. A garage-ready freezer was the answer! Frigidaire is a well known and trusted brand so I looked there first. I have only had this freezer for less than a week, but I am impressed with the features and functions.

Love my new Frigidare upright freezer! Outside freezer is a sleek white finish and the inside is white with 4 grey shelves and lower baskets. All space on the door is usable! So happy to be able to see what i have in my freezer! The only negative was that the door was on the wrong side and the delivery people would/could not change it as we were told they would.

I bought this model for two reasons. One is that it fit down my basement stairs but still seem to have quite a bit of space. Any other is the wire shelves. I just felt that air circulation would be better with the wire shelves than glass shelves. As it is still quite new and not full, I guess only time will tell.

Great freezer, Door seals tightly

We are happy with this freezer. It is meeting our needs but the door release decks or seals tightly and that when we open it it literally removes the whole freezer. The location where we have it was a bit unlevel so we have to be careful opening the door so we don™€™t knock it off the shims. It may just be an issue for us due to the floor in the basement.

Our previous freezer was over 30 years old and one week just stopped freezing properly. An "oh, no" moment turned into a "that's great" moment. Our new 13 CF Frigidaire freezer was the only one in the store that was larger than our current freezer. A little extra room is never bad. Little things make such a big difference. I love the interior lighting. No more grabbing the flashlight with one hand and rooting around with the other trying to find something. The shelving space is so generous as are the shelves on the door. The little green light at the bottom shows us all is well (meaning working and frozen). This Frigidaire freezer is made to be housed in a garage that can be very hot in the summer. All in all, we are so pleased that the old one failed!
